We take your privacy seriously and want you to feel comfortable using Eendesk (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personally identifiable information ("Data") on our site and Services. 1. Collection of Data

Account & Registration

Our registration process requires a valid email address, phone number, first and last name, and a unique event name.

GDPR Context

We are mindful of the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Event organizers using Eendesk to manage an event (i) while residing in an EU/EEA country, (ii) with a registered office in an EU/EEA country, (iii) with registrants from an EU/EEA country, or (iv) involving EU/EEA citizens, must not use the Services to collect IP addresses or email addresses for individuals who abandon a purchase or registration form before clicking "Submit" and completing the form.

Eendesk may still process limited technical data such as IP addresses for security, fraud prevention, and service delivery as described in this Policy.

Location Data (New)

Depending on how you use the Services and your device settings, we may collect:

  • Approximate location inferred from your IP address.
  • Precise location (e.g., GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi‑Fi signals) only if you grant device‑level permission. We do not collect precise location in the background unless you enable it in your device settings.

2. Use of Data

We do not share your Data with third parties except in the cases described below. We use Data to:

  • Provide and improve the Services, including account creation, event setup, registration, payments, and customer support.
  • Personalize the experience, including content, language, and time‑zone settings.
  • Location‑specific uses (new):
    • Show relevant local content (e.g., local dates/times, language, currency, or country‑specific features).
    • Support fraud detection, abuse prevention, and platform security.

Marketing Opt‑out

Opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link in those emails. To opt out of other forms of marketing, email info@eendesk.com.

Withdraw Consent

Where we rely on consent (for example, precise location), you may withdraw it at any time in your device/app settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal or processing based on lawful grounds other than consent.

6. Your Choices

Use Without Registration

Some features can be used without registering, which limits the information we collect.

Email Preferences

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions at the end of those emails. We may still contact you for informational, transactional, or account‑related purposes.

Most browsers let you disable or selectively manage cookies. If you disable cookies, some features and personalization may not work as intended. You may continue to see advertising, but it may be less relevant.

Location Settings (New)

  • For precise location, you can enable/disable permission at any time in your device or browser settings.
  • For approximate location inferred from IP address, you can limit this by using privacy tools (e.g., certain browser settings or VPNs); however, doing so may affect localization or fraud‑prevention features.

7. Editing or Deleting Your Account Information

You may request deletion of your user account by contacting us or by using the Delete Account tool in your dashboard (if available). Content or other data you submitted on event pages that is not stored in your user account will be returned to you upon account deletion and removed from our servers. 8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes by posting a prominent notice on our site and/or emailing the address listed in your user settings.

9. Data Retention

Retention periods vary by the type and sensitivity of the information and the purposes for which we use it. In general, we retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy (including providing products and services to you or our customers), unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. We retain account information for Eendesk Services for as long as your event organizer's account is active and thereafter unless your organizer requests deletion.

Location Data (New): We retain precise location data only for as long as needed to provide the location‑dependent feature you enabled or as otherwise required by law. Approximate location derived from IP addresses may be retained in security logs for a limited period consistent with our fraud‑prevention and security practices.
